The Gallery Flat

A unique space in an old Scottish chapel

The Gallery Flat forms part of a converted chapel in the heart of Scotland.

It ranges over two floors. Two large church windows let light and warmth illuminate the high-ceiling lounge. The chapel has two dedicated bedrooms offering comfortable king-size beds. But you can choose to sleep on a king bed sitting on a mezzanine floor overlooking the lounge.

There is a narrow walled garden which is also the private entry with outside parking adjacent to the chapel. The quirky layout of the building and its double height ceiling is enhanced by its theatrical interior designed by your host, a textile artist and hat designer.

You will find the space you need to relax and from the chapel there is Newburgh to discover and many beautiful walks to do.

"You have created a truly beautiful and inspiring place Jeanette! This short stay has really helped me to recentre myself a little, and I don’t think a better space for that can be found than this one. Thank you also for your gracious hosting. I felt very safe and welcomed. I hope to be back one day. Take care."
"I can’t find the correct words to describe how beautiful your home is.  From the minute we walked in it felt like home away from home. You will be seeing us again soon."
